Basic Info Bio| He's not exactly the best father figure around. After all, he prioritizes work over everything else, and distances himself from his father and his own son. He also looks down on his Quincy heritage, stating that there are no monetary rewards to reap if he had continued with that way of life, and even actively tried to discourage Uryuu to let go of his dreams of becoming a Quincy once, as the race will obviously die out with Souken, and Uryuu has no talent to keep it up. Needless to say he had failed in that department, making him out to be in an even worse light than before. Ryuuken's still a human being though, and still manages to avoid taking that "Asshole of the Century" award by restoring his son's Quincy powers, even if it had meant showing off his own powers that he worked hard to keep a secret. He also has a reason why he's looked down on the Quincy- he could not raise a family if he had continued to be one. Having a wife and son would obviously have been difficult if he had no stable means to sustain them. He was just being practical, not discriminatory or materialistic, but he lets Uryuu be with his views anyway. | » The RP » Concrit » Profile Codes |
